about the JANUSZÓWKA Studio

The founders of JANUSZÓWKA – Przemysław Janusz, a landscape architect and Rafał Kozłowski, an interior designer – started the studio in 2001, from the beginning aiming to create ambitious architecture that meets the individual expectations of clients in terms of both usability and aesthetics. The designed gardens, interiors and public spaces fit harmoniously into the surrounding landscape: the architectural objects and the space around them permeate each other.

The Studio’s team is made up of architects with multiple competencies. Each JANUSZÓWKA designer has a wide range of knowledge and is constantly gaining experience by implementing a variety of non-standard projects.

We focus on practical skills, which is why our team of landscape architects, interior designers and garden designers cover a wide range of tasks – always with the client’s individual needs and preferences at the forefront of their mind. The Studio is based in Bielsko-Biała, and our landscape architects and interior designers work throughout Poland and Europe.

Przemysław Janusz
M.Sc., landscape architect
More than 20 years of passion and experience in the profession: a graduate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, he completed a course in 2014 and was awarded the title of Supervisor of works in green areas, including historic greenery by SITO/NOT No. 07/05/2014; and CID Certified Tree Inspector 2017. He is also an expert in green area design, construction and maintenance of green areas, as well as tree science and arboriculture (cultivation, protection, assessment).
 
Rafał Kozłowski
visual artist, interior designer
He studied at the University of Silesia and the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Since 2001, together with Przemysław Janusz, he has been a partner in Landscape Architecture Design Studio JANUSZÓWKA. He specialises in interior and furniture design.


Karolina Kopiec

M.S.c., landscape architect

She graduated with honours from the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław in 2012. For more than 10 years, she has been interested in the broad subject of greenery – from its design to its protection. In 2020, she completed the course and received the title of Supervisor of Works in Green Areas SITO/NOT No. 07/05/2020. In the studio, she is a project manager, responsible for planning, supervising and effective implementation of projects.

 

 

Patrycja Kapica

horticulturist and dendrologist – specialist in plant cover

A graduate of Garden Art at the University of Agriculture in Krakow. In her professional work, she excels in dendrological opinions, species selection and projects related to the maintenance, protection and conservation of cultural heritage in the field of natural monuments and greenery in historic areas.
 
Paulina Polak
M.Sc. landscape architect
She began her professional path at the Bielsko Stanislaw Szumec Agricultural Training Center, majoring in landscape architecture technician, graduating with honors. She obtained her higher education in 2019 at the Cracow University of Technology. As a landscape architect, she deals with complex garden design for individual clients and public spaces.
 
Rafał Achita
M.S.c., landscape architect

A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology. At the Studio, he designs private gardens, urban spaces and recreational facilities. He prepares technical drawings, visualisations and animations for documentation. He starts his work on a project with quick sketches, which later become an inspiration for the final concept of the area.

 
Justyna Kudzia-Worek
M.S. architect
A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice in the field of architecture. In 2012, she graduated from the Gen. Stanisław Maczek Construction School Complex, majoring in construction technology. She began her professional adventure while still a student. She gained experience working under the supervision of an experienced architect and constructor.

The founders of Pracownia Architektury Krajobrazu JANUSZÓWKA have adopted as their primary goal the creation of ambitious architecture with clearly defined aesthetic and functional criteria. Landscape architects, interior designers and designers gathered in the JANUSZÓWKA Studio treat the designed space and architecture holistically – as a whole, and the solutions they propose blur the distinctive boundaries between building and landscape in our climatic zone.

This assumption allows to achieve tangible economic and environmental benefits, and gives JANUSZÓWKA projects a fresh and modern character. The architects work with technologically advanced tools, skillfully using their potential to ensure maximum usability of the designed buildings and the comfort of the people staying in them.

We carry out comprehensive designs for gardens, interiors of houses and apartments, public buildings and areas, as well as the revitalisation and regeneration of areas. We always consciously locate our ideas in the existing landscape, focusing on creating a modern, functional, user-friendly space. JANUSZÓWKA’s offer also includes a wide spectrum of services in the field of dendrology – from greenery inventories to complex expert opinions including instrumental diagnostics of trees. We also carry out dendrological studies as expert witnesses.
